CookieRay Pro Overview

CookieRay Pro is a separate add-on that extends the free CookieRay plugin. It does not replace the free plugin — it plugs into it and unlocks extra panels in the same admin.

What Pro adds

FeatureWhat it doesWhere to find it
Geo targetingHide the banner and CookieRay’s front-end consent handling for visitors from countries you chooseSettings → Geo Targeting
Scheduled scansRun the cookie scanner automatically every day, week, or monthScan History → Schedule Scan and Settings → Automated Cookie Scans
IntegrationsAdd Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, or Adobe with consent-aware loading. Per-tool guides: GTM, Meta Pixel, AdobeSettings → Integrations
Trust badgeShow a badge with your own text, position, and styleSettings → Trust Badge
Custom CSSAdd your own CSS to the live consent bannerBanner Design → Advanced

Everything else — the banner, script blocking, Google Consent Mode v2, the cookie scanner, the inventory, consent logs, CSV export and PDF receipts — is in the free plugin.

Requirements

  • The free CookieRay plugin must be installed and active. Pro does nothing on its own.
  • WordPress 6.0 or later and PHP 7.4 or later for the Pro add-on. (The free plugin requires WordPress 6.2 or later.)
  • A CookieRay Pro license key and the email address used at purchase.
  • Custom CSS needs free CookieRay 1.0.2 or later.

Install and activate

  1. Install and activate the free CookieRay plugin.
  2. Upload the cookieray-pro plugin from Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, then activate it.
  3. Go to the License screen under CookieRay (labeled Upgrade to Pro until a license is active) and enter your license key and email. See License activation.

Without a license

Pro panels stay visible in the admin but are locked. The admin shows messages such as “A Pro license is required to use geo targeting. Upgrade or reactivate Pro to unlock this feature.” and “Scheduled scans paused — Pro license required.”
