Dashboard

The CookieRay dashboard is your home base. It shows a setup checklist and a summarized score so you can see at a glance how your consent configuration is shaping up. CookieRay opens here automatically the first time you activate it.

The checklist

The checklist walks you through the core setup steps. As you complete each one, it gets ticked off. Use it as a guided path: choose a blocking mode, set up and enable the banner, run a scan, categorize your cookies, and so on.

The score

The dashboard shows a summarized score based on a set of configurable checks. The score rolls these individual checks into a single number so you can quickly gauge your progress.

What each check looks at

The score is calculated from checks such as:

• Blocking mode — Whether you’ve set a blocking mode (Log Only or Strict).
• Categorized cookies — Whether the cookies in your inventory have been assigned to categories.
• Policy link usage — Whether a policy link is in use.
• Consent expiry recency — Whether consent records are recent rather than stale.
• Scan recency — Whether you’ve run a cookie scan recently.
• Google Consent Mode — Whether Google Consent Mode is enabled.

Each check contributes to the overall picture of your setup.

The score is guidance, not certification

The dashboard score is internal guidance only. It is meant to help you spot gaps in your configuration and prioritize what to do next.

It is not a compliance certification and does not guarantee that your site meets GDPR, CCPA, ePrivacy, or any other legal requirement. A high score means CookieRay’s checks are satisfied, not that you are legally compliant. Always involve your own legal review for compliance decisions.
