The CookieRay dashboard is your home base. It shows a Compliance Checklist and a Compliance Score so you can see at a glance how your consent configuration is shaping up. CookieRay opens here after you activate it.

The checklist

The checklist walks you through the core setup steps. As you complete each one, it gets ticked off. Use it as a guided path: enable the banner, switch to Strict blocking, run a scan, categorize your cookies, and so on.

The score

The score is the percentage of checks that pass. There is a fixed set of seven checks, and each counts equally. You can’t add, remove or weight them.

What each check looks at

The seven checks are:

• Consent banner is enabled — The banner is switched on in Settings.
• Consent mode set to Strict — Settings → Consent Behavior is Block Until Consent. Log Consent Only does not pass this check.
• All cookies categorized — The inventory has at least one cookie and none are uncategorized. An empty inventory does not pass.
• Privacy policy link configured — The banner shows a privacy link with a real URL (an empty URL or a bare # does not count).
• Scan run within the last 30 days — Your latest completed scan is no more than 30 days old.
• Consent expiry ≤ 13 months — Consent expiry is set to 395 days or fewer.
• Google Consent Mode v2 enabled — The toggle is on in Settings.

The score is guidance, not certification

The dashboard score is internal guidance only. It is meant to help you spot gaps in your configuration and prioritize what to do next.

It is not a compliance certification and does not guarantee that your site meets GDPR, CCPA, ePrivacy, or any other legal requirement. A high score means CookieRay’s checks are satisfied, not that you are legally compliant. Always involve your own legal review for compliance decisions.
